In 2023, vendors are increasingly using formal marketing campaigns to assess the extent of market pricing. Although there is limited evidence of distress, some investors are completing transactions, due to the availability of equity looking to invest in real estate, despite the increased cost of debt.
Despite the absence of interest rate deceleration, we are observing successful transactions emerging post Q2 2023. We anticipate that improved pricing clarity and market confidence will stimulate transactional activity in the second half of 2023.
